Wow, it's been almost a month since my last post. Not much happening. I've been busy working on crafts for the church's upcoming Oktoberfest. Mom found a pattern for Bavarian style dresses, and she made dresses for Katie and me. I even found a doll dress and an ornament beer stein for Briony! She's adorable. I'm behind in my updating. Another Christmas has come and gone! Christmas Eve services were at church. It was nice, but I miss being in a choir. Sam was able to get a couple of days off to come down to Virginia. There were five of us at dinner. Many good presents were exchanged! Katie and I got a late start on Monday, but still made it to the Magic Kingdom by ten. We spent the first half hour in line at Starbucks, LOL!

Sunday was the concert at Epcot. But first, we had brunch at the hotel. Brunch is always a good idea. And brunch is even better with the famous Mickey waffles!

Saturday was mostly rehearsals at the resort conference center. It was exhausting, but we had plenty of breaks. There was an optional concert that night, but Katie and I had other plans. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool. It was awesome. Great hot tub, too!

Katie and I left on Thanksgiving night. It was a 15 hour, overnight train ride! We got to Orlando around one, and were able to check in at Coronado Springs Resort right away. We were blown away by how gorgeous and huge it was! Friday was just registration and a welcoming reception, so we mostly relaxed ( Read more... )

I got my Covid-19 booster shot this week. I was sick for two days, felt like I had the flu. Still better than getting Covid!

I was hoping to see The Eternals this week. I was too tired to go after church on Sunday, had too many errands to run on Monday and Tuesday (including two hours of standing in line at the DMV), and Tuesday night I was hit with a massive migraine that lingered until tonight.
